I Am…

Michele is an aspiring designer with a special interest in architecture and interiors. She has participated in various design and construction coordination phases for The Huntington Cleveland Convention Center, Hilton Hotel Downtown Cleveland, St. Agnes+ Our Lady of Fatima, Almira School, and Cleveland Heights High School. Michele received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University and a Master of Architecture degree with emphasis in Interiors from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. As an emerging design professional, Michele believes that design changes our world and ultimately dreams to make design services more accessible to all communities through initiating creative thinking and problem solving skills.

As an advocate for arts in education, Michele serves on the board at Rainey Institute.  Her other leadership roles include serving on the Ohio American Institute of Architects (AIA) Board of Directors as the Associate Director, Treasurer of the Cleveland chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) and the Advisory Committee of Design Diversity.

In addition, Michele has led multiple design workshops and classes in the greater Cleveland area. She is a supporter / member of the Cleveland Young Professional Senate, CollegeNow and The Women’s Leadership Guild.  She is passionate about people, process, performance and most recently painting!
